Within these empty streets and open plains are beautiful desert mountains, starry nights, and the legend of Clay Henry - the Mayor of Lajitas and beloved by the locals and the thousands of visitors, the beer-drinking goat became iconic. While goats no longer drink beer in Lajitas, the legend lives on through our annual Goat Collection.
